As an expression of thanks to God, the Usher and Hospitality Ministry provides preparation and assistance for the worship service. As members are often the first point of contact with the congregation, service with a smile is paramount.
We welcome members of the congregation at the entrance, and help people with disabilities to their seats. We serve as greeters, distributing bulletins and flyers at the entrance of the auditorium and directing people to their seats. The preparation of Holy Communion and its clearing up are also performed by Hospitalty Ministry members at the beginning of the month.
During the service, we also help in the distribution of newcomers’ packages, the collection of offerings and attend to any disturbances. When the service is over, we help with any congregational needs and are responsible for the clearing up of all materials on display.
