In an age of pleasure and instant gratification, it can be too easy to focus on the 'now' and to lose sight of eternity. God's word brings a correction to temporal values by keeping us focused on eternity.

 

God's Word says:
"Repeatedly in John Chapter six, Jesus says, 'I am.'" John 6:35, 51, 581


Let us pray:
"Jesus I thank you for the way you reveal yourself. As I develop a habit of reading your word, you reveal more of yourself to me. This gives me a clearer understanding of who you are. In Jesus' name. Amen."
