Ecclesia Bible College (EBC) |
Ecclesia Bible College (EBC) was inaugurated in 1947 to equip people for ministry. EBC is accredited by the Asia Pacific Theological Association. The English Extension was established in 2000 to provide a continuing education opportunity leading to the Master of Christian Ministry degree and Master of Divinity degree. This is especially for those who are unable to leave their employment to study full-time.
Primary goals for these two degree programs include:-
- Growth in personal and spiritual maturity and in the ability to be a witness for Christ.
- Skills to help in carrying out Christian Ministry in the church.
- Exhibit a maturing Christ-like Life style in their personal walk with God.
- Be committed to basic Christian values, which include an appreciation for, and exercise of, traditional Pentecostal beliefs.
- Utilize basic disciplines and methodologies of Biblical study so that they may be continually applied throughout their ministries.
- Seek to bring together the best in academic understanding and building the church and kingdom of God.
- Manifest skills in preaching, teaching, administrating, counseling, worship, evangelism, and missions to equip the saints for their ministries.
- Demonstrate sensitivity in communicating the principles of the Christian message and in their application in different cultural settings.
- Demonstrating a commitment to the Great Commission in their lives and ministries.
The Master of Christian Ministry is a 40-credit graduate degree to equip people for competent leadership in church by providing a foundation in basic theological and ministrial education and flexibility for the learners to focus their research on particular areas.
Prerequisites: Bachelor of Theology or university degree equivalent

The Master of Divinity is a 60-credit graduate degree after obtaining the Master of Christian Ministry, designed to provide advanced training for pastors and Bible school teachers who wish to specialize in pastoral and teaching services.

Course Fees:
HK$3,500 per 3-credit course (HK$3,150 for ICA members)
HK$1,750 per 3-credit course for Audit (HK$1,575 for ICA members)
Location:
Courses are held at the International Christian Assembly (ICA) facilities in North Point. Classes are held in the mornings or evenings during the week.
Duration of Study:
Students have up to 7 years to complete their studies.
Students are welcome to audit (sit in) the courses, if spaces are available.
