Building the Kingdom of God

Haggai 1:7-8

Thus says he Lord of hosts: "Consider your ways! Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the Temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified

As is during the time of the prophet Haggai, we now live in the time in which God has called His people to build His house, the family of God on earth.

But the family is not complete without God's chosen nation Israel coming back into the Kingdom. In ancient days God revealed Himself to them and used them to unfold His plan of salvation for all peoples."

One new man of Jews and Gentiles in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:15)

Haggai 2:6-7,9

"For thus says the Lord of Host: 'Once more I will shake the heaven and the earth, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this Temple with glory.' The glory of this latter Temple shall be greater than the former Temple."

We live in a world now when God is shaking all that is shakable: people, the nations and the church. Only the things that cannot be shaken may remain (Hebrews 12:27). Jesus Christ is the only assurance.

Haggai Ministry augments the teachings of the church in the call and destiny of Israel through learning the Jewish roots of our Christian faith and understanding the biblical significance of the present day ingathering of the Jewish people back to the land of their forefathers and to spur one another on to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Haggai Ministry meets every Saturday 3:15-5:00pm [except public holidays] at ICA Tanner Road (Room 7) to pray for:

1) Israel and Peace of Jerusalem

2) ICA and our leadership team

3) Revival in HK and the "Signs of the times"
